Withdrawal & Product Returns

Have you received a product and wish to return it? abouthome.com.gr is here to offer you very simple and easy ways of service. So if you belong to one of the following cases for the product you purchased, you can request its return. The return process is simple, easy and immediate. Just follow the procedure described below for the case you fall into:




Return due to the exercise of the Right of Withdrawal




If you are a natural person (consumer) and your purchase is for your personal use only, then you are entitled to withdraw without giving a reason within 14 calendar days of delivery to you by returning the product to us.




The right of withdrawal applies if:


- the product is in its original condition, with all the accessories and forms accompanying it


- your declaration to this effect is made before the 14th day after its delivery to you




Shipping costs: the return is made by your own means and at your own cost within 14 calendar days from the date of your declaration of withdrawal (either you return it yourself to the point indicated by us or you send it by a carrier).



Inspection & Refund.




FOR REFUND OF THE PRICE in the context of a product return:


- If the payment had been made by you using a Credit or Debit Card, our COMPANY is obliged to inform the Bank of the cancellation of the transaction and the Bank will proceed according to the terms stipulated in the contract signed between the customer (you) and his/her Bank. After such notification, the COMPANY shall not be responsible for the implementation of the terms of the aforementioned contract between the client and the Bank, as well as for the time and manner of execution of the counterparty of the said transaction.


- In the event that the payment of the price has been made by cash or Bank transfer or cash on delivery, in order to be reimbursed the said amount, you will indicate from your side a Bank account (by sending a proof that you are the beneficiary of it) to which the reimbursement of the price of the product will be made by deposit.

Terms and conditions for the exercise of the right of assignment


The right of withdrawal may be exercised no later than fourteen (14) calendar days from the receipt of the product by you to be considered timely and does not require any additional justification from you.




A condition for the valid exercise of the right of withdrawal is that the product must be in its original condition, its packaging must be the original, in perfect condition, not damaged or incomplete or with obvious signs of wear and tear and all accessories, any gifts, accompanying products and materials must be included.




In the event that the product has lost its value due to mishandling that goes beyond a mere examination of the functionality and features of the product, you will be required to pay monetary compensation for the reduction in value. In this case, this financial compensation will be deducted from the amount of the refund. In any such case of set-off, you will be informed before the credit and refund process is completed. Particularly in the case of components or spare parts and in those where the material requires appropriate expertise both for its selection and for its installation and which cannot be operated as a stand-alone unit, it is considered that unpacking it automatically implies that it has lost at least 50% of its commercial value and in the event of withdrawal it will be credited accordingly at 50% or less of the invoice value, incorrect statement.




You should also be aware that our company is not responsible for any loss or destruction of any data or other items stored on the returned device and you should ensure before sending the product that there is no data on it and it is in its original/factory condition.




Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal:


The Right of Withdrawal does not apply to cases that are excluded by applicable law and case law, such as, for example, products that have been manufactured for you to your own specifications and/or are clearly personalized, products that by their nature are, after delivery, integrally mixed with other items, services that have already been performed and/or if you have obtained from us digital content not provided on a physical carrier and performance has commenced, products that are not suitable for return for health or




Assignment:


In order to return a product, you must complete the relevant "email" and send it to us.




Return due to delivery of the wrong product




In the event that the product we sent you is different from the one you ordered, you may return it within ten (10) working days of its delivery to you free of shipping charges. The return of the product, in this case, can only be made if the product is in its original condition and with full original undamaged packaging.


Shipping costs: the return for these cases is at our own cost, provided that you have previously contacted our Customer Service Department, in order to send you the correct product.




In the event that, in the context of the above, we make a refund to you of the original price, it is clarified that:


- If the payment had been made by you using a Credit or Debit Card, our COMPANY is obliged to inform the Bank of the cancellation of the transaction and the Bank will proceed according to the terms stipulated in the contract signed between the customer (you) and his/her Bank. Return due to a claim for a defect




In case you wish to return a product you have purchased because you consider it to have a defect, please contact our Customer Service Department in order to communicate your case and receive all the necessary and necessary directions and information.




If a product is reported as defective by you, our company expressly reserves the right to have the product diagnosed as defective by competent technicians.




ATTENTION




- In cases where the product does not work at the time of receipt: in case you have just received the product and it has a technical problem, we suggest that you also consult the relevant paragraph in the Warranties - Service section regarding Dead-On-Arrival (DOA) products for those cases where there is a specific replacement procedure provided by the manufacturer, referred to as Dead-On-Arrival or "DOA"

Shipping costs: shipments to the Service Center are made by your own means and at your own cost.




Device control charge: you should be informed before sending the product, to find out about possible device control charges from the Service Center




Records and Data on the product: our company is not responsible for any loss or destruction of any data or other items stored on the device and you should ensure before sending the product to the Service Center that you have secured such data. You should also ensure that there is no personal data of yours or of a third party within the device.The safekeeping, storage, backing up of your data and data that existed in the product you send to the Service Center is your sole responsibility.

Refusal to accept your repair: in the event that you do not receive the product from the Service within three months from the date of its dispatch to the Service, you are deemed to waive ownership of the product and any claim for compensation.
